There’s no such thing as Gigi Hadid fatigue in the PeopleStyle office. And that’s a good thing, because it seems like the 20-year-old star is debuting a new project (or three) every week. One of her latest? Vogue Netherlands’ November cover, which holds a special meaning for the half-Dutch model.

While the shoot took place in Brooklyn, New York, Hadid says she was hoping to travel to Netherlands (her mom is Dutch and she still has family there). Her dream photo shoot location? The popular Brabantian amusement park ‘De Efteling.’ (It’s like the Disney World of the Netherlands.)
Touted by the mag as a “social supermodel,” Gigi poses in everything from a backless gown to a chunky knit sweater to a pair of tweed trousers — sans top.

In the interview, Gigi reveals: “If I do something, I want to be the best at it.” She also shares that her nickname is “G,” she loves all music from country to rap, her favorite Dutch word is “Poffertjes” (a traditional Dutch pastry), and that she shares a hidden talent with her sisters. (“My sisters and I speak a secret language that no one understands.””
Vogue Netherlands marks Gigi’s fourth Vogue cover, following Vogue Spain, Teen Vogue and Vogue Australia. Go behind-the-scenes of her latest shoot and watch her speak Dutch in the video below!
